The University of Sheffield Singers' Society

SingSoc is one of the biggest societies at the University of Sheffield and is open to all - undergraduates, postgraduates, staff, and international/Erasmus/ semester abroad students, as well as local Sheffield residents.

Founded in 1998, SingSoc has grown to have well over 150 singers, singing in 4 choirs, all led by our professional Artistic Director. We cover a wide range of music from big choral works to more modern pieces, both classical and popular. We have a wonderful mix of really experienced and confident choral singers and people who are band new to choral singing - at it works brilliantly! There are no auditions at all - if you love singing, we want to see you at rehearsals!
